The
west side of Indianapolis has no dedicated facility to rescue, shelter and
support victims of domestic violence and to assist with the family pets. Our vision is to open a shelter, with
sufficient resources so that no victim need ever be turned away. A shelter that will not only provide beds, but
also counseling, medical care, education, transportation, clothing and all
other services needed to restore the victims and lead them to economic
self-sufficiency and freedom.
In
addition, we want our shelter to be a presence in the community, a source of
outreach and education, and a beacon, if you will, of love and hope in times of
trouble.
